Vegetable Lo Mein with Shirataki Noodles

Shirataki Noodles Recipe #32


1 bag of shirataki noodles
1/3 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of mushrooms sliced in quarters
½ cup of carrots thinly sliced
1 red pepper thinly sliced
1 onion thinly sliced
3 cloves of garlic minced
1.5 cups of bean sprouts
1 green pepper thinly sliced
1 tablespoon of corn starch
1 cup of chicken broth
3 jalapeños thinly sliced
1 can of baby corn
½ a cup of hoisin sauce
2 table spoons of honey
2 table spoons of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of ginger
½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Cooking it all

1. Cook your shirataki noodles by rinsing them for 2 minutes and then boiling for 2 minutes
2. In a wok add the oil and heat
3. Add all the vegetables into the wok
4. Mix and cook
5. Add cornstarch, chicken broth to the mix
6. Next add the hoisin sauce, honey, soy sauce, ginger, cayenne pepper, and cook until the sauce is thicken and bubbly
7. Add the noodles to the wok and mix
8. Enjoy your vegetable lo mein
